Site and Cultural Requirements:
Deutzias are tolerant of a variety of soil conditions and drought once established.
They prefer well-drained sites. With aging they often exhibit numerous dead
branches and benefit from periodically removing older branches or cutting shrubs
back to the ground to renew growth.
Insect/Disease Issues:
-Deutzias have very few pest problems. Minor leaf spot and aphid damage may
occur.
