Heed Nature Club
2nd Fridays Every Month
9:30 to 11:30 AM
1:00 to 3:00 PMNature Club sessions include exploratory walks, fun games and activities, and the opportunity to learn in an outdoor classroom. Sessions are lead by Lee Goldsmith and typically last two hours. We start with a seasonal theme; like finding seeds, watching birds or studying tree leaves, but we also discover animal tracks, frogs, bird’s nests or unusual plants.
Each month draws something new to our attention; Budding, flowering, andbirding to fruits, seeds, and migrations. Children have the opportunity to experience these natural transitions in our various habitats and make discoveries of their own.
