Identifing Trees in Summer
Saturday, July 24th
9:00 AM until 11:00 AM
Learn to identify tree using leaves, fruits and early twig growth.

3rd Annual Chamber Music Concert
Saturday, September 11, 5:00 PM
Enjoy the sounds of classical music while taking in the view of the Arboretum’s Lake Homestead and valley.

Fifth Annual Membership Gathering
Saruday, September 25th; 3:30 PM until 6:00 PM
Become a member and enjoy this special evening with walking tours, refreshments with Dr. Jeff Iles, Iowa State Universtiy Horticulture, the featured speaker.

Southern Migration Bird Walk
Date to be announced
Typically, this is the best time to find a wide variety of
sparrows as they move through Iowa on their way south.

Leaf Collection Show and Petiole Tour
Sunday, October 10th, 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM
View leaf collections that have been pressed, assembled and presented by area school children. The petiole tour begins at 2:00 PM
